Key responsibilities & impact

Drive technical execution as a Staff Software Engineer
Solve high-impact distribution problems and build systems for the next decade
Design highly scalable and resilient systems supporting low-latency conversational journeys, heavy microservices orchestration, and real-time ML processing
Work across multiple engineering teams through a unified selection process
Explore team placement based on experience, interests, and hiring needs
Use technologies including Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Go, Python, React, AWS, and AI tools such as Claude Code
Participate in technical screening, live coding, architecture live cases, and technology leadership interviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in software development, leading the delivery of high-volume, high-concurrency, and mission-critical distributed systems
Deep knowledge of modern software architecture paradigms, distributed data consistency, fault tolerance, and system optimization
Understanding of data-intensive applications and readiness to build architectures supporting Machine Learning/AI features at scale
Proven ability to analyze and articulate engineering trade-offs concretely
Demonstrated capability to remove barriers to collaboration, conduct difficult structural conversations, and foster an inclusive engineering culture
Fluency in Portuguese and excellent English skills (mandatory)
Prior experience designing architectures integrating LLMs, multi-agent AI systems, or heavy data pipelines (standout qualification)
Strong background in FinOps and cost-optimization for high-throughput cloud environments (standout qualification)
Solid experience migrating legacy monolithic structures into highly decoupled, event-driven architectures (standout qualification)
