About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and ensure operations at schools
- Monitor and provide guidance on corrective maintenance at schools
- Manage the physical and financial aspects of the maintenance budget line
- Assign requests to third-party providers and maintenance teams, and monitor SLAs
- Enter and organize invoices for services and construction projects
- Handle planned and emergency service requests from school units
- Manage suppliers and contracts
- Prepare budgets and monitor improvements and small- and medium-sized construction projects
- Support the control of project execution and construction progress measurements
- Technically inspect maintenance activities, overseeing quality and timelines
- Conduct routine visits to school units throughout the state of São Paulo
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets
- Prepare operational maintenance reports
- Develop construction and maintenance schedules
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Availability to travel
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to interpret and verify designs against actual execution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize requests and controls
- Analytical skills
- Valid Category B driver’s license
- Experience with building maintenance routines (a plus)
- Previous experience managing construction projects (a plus)
- Experience managing suppliers (a plus)
- Strong communication and instructional skills when working with internal clients (a plus)
