About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop the Indirect Materials Buyers team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment focused on continuous development
  • Define, implement, and monitor sourcing and category management strategies for MRO, PPE, Facilities, services, and other indirect categories
  • Lead and guide strategic negotiations, ensuring the best commercial terms, total cost of ownership (TCO) reduction, savings generation, and operational continuity
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with strategic suppliers, managing performance, contracts, commercial agreements, and service-level agreement (SLA) indicators
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and compliance guidelines
  • Support internal stakeholder areas in defining supply solutions that add value to the business while balancing cost, quality, innovation, and service levels
  • Monitor performance indicators and improvement opportunities, promoting operational efficiency and excellence in procurement processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in manufacturing industries, preferably in multinational environments
  • Strong experience managing the procurement of indirect materials and services, including strategic negotiations, supplier management, and contract management
  • Fluent English for interaction with suppliers and global stakeholders
  • Knowledge of international markets and global supplier dynamics
  • Knowledge of import processes and international logistics
  • Integrated understanding of the supply chain and its business impacts
  • Knowledge of commodity markets and their influence on cost formation
  • Intermediate or advanced Spanish
