About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and monitor short- and long-term production plans for the extrusion process, ensuring alignment between demand and manufacturing capacity
- Prepare detailed production schedules, taking capacity constraints, material availability, and business priorities into account
- Monitor adherence to the production plan and propose corrective actions for identified deviations
- Manage finished-goods and semi-finished-goods inventories, seeking to balance product availability and invested capital
- Conduct production-capacity analyses, identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Develop, update, and monitor area performance indicators using Power BI and other management tools
- Participate in continuous-improvement projects, process automation initiatives, and the implementation of new production planning and scheduling tools
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of planning parameters in corporate systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Production Engineering, Business Administration, or Logistics
- Experience with Production Planning and Control (PPC) and S&OP/S&OE
- Experience simulating and developing production plans and monitoring operational indicators
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with strong Excel proficiency for data analysis and management
- Experience with SAP (PP, MM)
- Experience with Preactor (APS) for production scheduling and sequencing
- Knowledge of SAP (APO/IBP) preferred
- Knowledge of Power BI preferred
- Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Planning preferred
- Intermediate Spanish preferred
