About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Map risks and controls across the institution’s processes, perform design and operating effectiveness testing of internal controls, and monitor the implementation of action plans.
  • Support the monitoring of operational risks and loss events by conducting root cause analyses and tracking corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop, monitor, and report performance, risk, and control indicators (KPIs, KRIs, and KCIs).
  • Structure, consolidate, validate, and maintain the department’s databases, ensuring information integrity, traceability, consistency, and quality.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, management reports, and executive views using Power BI, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
  • Automate data collection, consolidation, monitoring, and reporting processes using Power Automate and other Microsoft tools.
  • Analyze and cross-reference information from different corporate systems, identifying trends, deviations, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare executive materials for committees, governance forums, and senior management.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory authorities.
  • Contribute to strengthening the risk and internal controls culture by providing consulting support to business and support functions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
  • Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience in non-financial risk, operational risk, internal controls, governance, or related areas within the financial sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with business, technology, and governance teams.
  • Proactive, organized, and problem-solving mindset in dynamic and constantly evolving environments.
  • Experience developing and monitoring risk and control indicators (KRIs, KPIs, and KCIs).
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Power BI and Excel.
  • Experience with GRC tools.
  • Knowledge of Central Bank regulations related to risk, internal controls, and governance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the COSO frameworks and regulations applicable to risk management and internal controls.
