About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently and reliably record ongoing business transactions
Keep track of deadlines and monitor payment transactions
Handle dunning and collections correspondence via email
Maintain master data in a structured and meticulous manner
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Develop toward independently preparing financial statements
Support the implementation and adjustment of processes
Drive digitalization in the financial accounting area

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial or tax specialist training, or a degree with a focus on finance and accounting
Relevant professional experience (at least 4 years) in financial accounting
Good knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Good knowledge of a common ERP system (e.g., DATEV, SAP, Navision, etc.) and Excel
Very good German language skills (at least C1)
Good English language skills (at least B1)
Excellent analytical skills, initiative, and meticulousness
Team spirit and the motivation to actively drive things forward
