Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Senior Analyst through fundamental analysis and investment research in equity markets, emphasizing original bottom-up research in Biotechnology
Analyze individual Biotechnology companies and build and update fully integrated financial and valuation models
Write comprehensive research reports and present findings
Draft reports and notes on investment themes, events, and breaking news
Conduct primary research through financial analysis, clinical data due diligence, industry trends, company management, and strategies
Organize physician calls for investors and investor events
Regularly update the analyst marketing handout
Interact with the Firm’s institutional sales force and investor clients
Respond to client and internal inquiries regarding research findings and directives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Background in the life sciences
Interest in equity research and financial modeling, specifically in Biotechnology sectors with a focus on rare disease and gene therapies
Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Exceptional academic pedigree, including a higher degree in a life science field (PhD)
Ability to search, understand, and interpret scientific and medical publications and presentations
Experience in PK/PD modeling, statistical modeling, clinical trial design and analysis is preferred
Knowledge of programming languages such as R and Python is a plus
Prior experience in drug development and PK/PD optimization is preferred
