About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide high-quality behavioral healthcare through telehealth
Facilitate 1:1, group, and family therapy
Conduct psychological and biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans
Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, medical doctors, and other healthcare professionals
Complete suicide risk assessments within required time frames and consult clinical leaders
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to determine length of stay and level of care
Identify community resources for treatment and aftercare planning
Adhere to standardized group curriculum and treatment planning
Educate clients and families about mental health and behavioral issues
Prepare for weekly clinical supervision with client updates, case formulations, and questions
Follow confidentiality, ethical, professional, and legal standards
Stay current on behavioral therapy and mental health research

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be independently licensed as a therapist in Massachusetts as a LICSW or LMHC
Ability and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as requested
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
Demonstrated experience providing behavioral therapy, counseling, and group therapy
Ability to manage clients effectively in virtual settings and adapt interventions to telehealth
Comfort and competence with HIPAA-compliant video platforms, EMRs, and virtual collaboration tools
Knowledge of or willingness to learn telehealth best practices, including crisis response and safety planning in a remote setting
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while staying connected to a distributed virtual team
Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive virtual group culture
If eligible, willingness to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians
Highly preferred: 3 years post-independent-licensure experience
Preferred: Experience facilitating group therapy in an IOP/PHP/RES/IP setting
Preferred: Experience working virtually
