About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide the team in developing solutions using Agile practices for high-complexity initiatives from initiation through release
  • Oversee Scrum Masters in the domain as a subject matter expert
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos, and sprint retrospectives
  • Create and maintain communication channels that foster a trusting and safe team environment
  • Improve team performance by promoting joint accountability and solving productivity issues
  • Protect the team from outside distractions and remove obstacles
  • Help the Scrum team become self-organized, cross-functional, and highly efficient
  • Document and execute the team’s continuous improvement plan based on retrospectives
  • Clarify deliverables and assignments and remove impediments
  • Provide leadership with metrics needed for decision-making
  • Oversee and mentor Scrum Masters
  • Act as the Agile projects SME for the domain
  • Improve throughput and velocity while enabling the team to self-manage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years related work experience
  • Experience leading Agile / Scrum projects
  • Related Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or additional related equivalent work experience
  • Certified Scrum Master upon hire
  • Experience utilizing the CA Agile Rally tool (preferred)
