About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Unearth customer insights to guide the user experience
  • Provide actionable, meaningful, data-driven insights representing multiple users
  • Evaluate current and upcoming user research needs across development, design, and marketing teams
  • Design and conduct exploratory and concept-validation research
  • Deliver formative and summative research in cadence with the design process
  • Partner with designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders on cross-functional product teams
  • Create research strategies and coordinate participant recruitment
  • Facilitate usability studies and work directly with research participants
  • Generate insights influencing product strategy, feature design, and prioritization
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years related work experience
  • Related Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to design and conduct research ranging from exploratory research to concept validation
  • Ability to collaborate with interaction and visual designers
  • Experience working on cross-functional product teams with designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to create research strategies
  • Ability to coordinate participant recruitment
  • Ability to facilitate usability studies
  • Experience working directly with research participants
  • Ability to generate data-driven insights influencing product strategy, feature design, and prioritization
  • Ability to present findings and insights compellingly
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage research projects
  • Ability to serve as liaison with stakeholders
