About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide customer service and education to plan members and providers
- Answer complex questions regarding insurance claims and policies
- Resolve issues and ensure customers understand products, services and processes
- Research inquiries and interpret policy provisions to determine effective responses
- Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Perform semi-routine duties under established systems and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 0-1 years of relevant experience in a customer support role
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to provide customer service and education to plan members and providers regarding insurance claims and policies
- Ability to resolve customer issues and interpret policy provisions
- Ability to use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST during training
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm EST after training
