Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build financial models, market analyses, and quantitative research supporting assigned workstreams
  • Gather and synthesize internal and external data into a clear, organized fact base
  • Run defined analyses accurately and identify assumptions, gaps, and anomalies
  • Produce clear, error-free slides, memos, and data cuts under engagement-lead direction
  • Turn analysis into well-structured exhibits that clarify key implications
  • Incorporate feedback and organize files, versions, and source data
  • Learn and apply problem structuring, analytics, and storylining
  • Develop an understanding of health-plan products, members, and economics
  • Manage tasks, priorities, deadlines, progress, and blockers
  • Collaborate with business-unit subject-matter experts and data owners
  • Support stakeholder discussions and working sessions
  • Share reusable analysis, templates, and tools with the team
  • Represent Enterprise Strategy professionally across GuideWell

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 0–2 years of experience
  • No prior full-time experience required; entry-level campus-hire role
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to perform careful, accurate quantitative work
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail and habit of double-checking work
  • Ability to manage time, juggle multiple priorities, and ask for help when needed
  • Collaborative, reliable approach and appetite for feedback and learning
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and learning new tools and methods quickly
  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work
  • Internship, co-op, or academic project experience involving data analysis, research, modeling, or structured problem-solving is a plus
  • Working knowledge of a data or analytics tool beyond Excel, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI, is preferred
