About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage team resources, identify and remove blockers, and ensure delivery of solutions
Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment
Share progress, ask for help when needed, and provide constructive feedback
Maintain knowledge of existing and emerging agile best practices
Maintain knowledge of technologies relevant to supported projects and security best practices
Deliver software projects using Agile methodologies
Create roadmaps, plan sprints, and prioritize backlogs
Manage stakeholders across executives, customers, and technical teams
Identify bottlenecks and proactively mitigate risks
Drive continuous process improvement using retrospectives, OKRs, and KPIs
Communicate effectively with engineers regarding software development, DevOps, cloud, and CI/CD

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 4 years of experience managing teams of developers, working with stakeholders, and delivering software projects using Agile methodologies
Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), GitHub Issues, and Jira
Experience with roadmap creation, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization
Experience communicating with executives, customers, and tech teams
Experience identifying bottlenecks and proactively mitigating risks
Experience with continuous improvement using retrospectives, OKRs, and KPIs
Understanding of software development, DevOps, cloud, and CI/CD
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
At least one of the following certifications required: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Must be eligible for employment in the United States
