About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and further develop a Kubernetes-based cloud platform for business applications (ERP SaaS)
- Ensure the stability, availability, performance, and security of production customer systems
- Operate database systems (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) in customer environments
- Contribute to incident, change, and problem management, including analysis and sustainable remediation
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code (OpenTofu or Terraform, as well as ArgoCD)
- Standardize, document, and continuously optimize the platform
- Support ERP implementations from an operations perspective and transition them to Managed Services
- Coordinate technically with Development, Professional Services, Support, and external partners
- Engage directly with customers on technical matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience operating production Kubernetes-based systems using GitOps
- Experience with MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL in business-critical environments
- Experience automating infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, backup, and monitoring
- Structured, reliable working style and a strong sense of responsibility
- Experience with regulatory requirements (GxP) is a strong plus
- Very good German and good English language skills
