About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, film, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for digital, social media, fundraising, marketing, and Trust communications channels.
  • Capture photography and video footage at events, campaigns, and organisational activities.
  • Conduct on-camera interviews and direct pieces to camera with professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Design and produce engaging video graphics, including lower thirds, stings, and motion elements, in line with brand guidelines.
  • Support the development and growth of the charity's brand presence with the Senior Brand and Content Manager.
  • Produce visual assets for integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and contributes to a consistent visual identity.
  • Develop creative concepts that increase engagement and strengthen audience connections with the charity.
  • Identify content opportunities and build a pipeline of impact stories with the Stories and Content Manager.
  • Develop content strategies with Digital Channel Managers and Trust Media Lead that align brand storytelling with full-funnel digital performance objectives.
  • Develop and maintain user-generated content frameworks, templates, and best-practice guidelines.
  • Support campaign planning with creative ideas and visual storytelling expertise.
  • Organise and maintain a structured archive of video content.
  • Manage the full content production process from concept development and pre-production through filming, editing, and delivery.
  • Ensure content meets safeguarding, consent, GDPR, accessibility, and other relevant requirements.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively across the Charities directorate while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Work in the Foundation’s office at least two days of meaningful time per week and at hospital sites as required.
  • Attend events occasionally in the evening and at weekends.

  • Demonstrable experience producing high-quality video and visual content for social media, websites, campaigns, and other digital channels, including filming, photography, editing, and post-production.
  • Demonstrable experience translating complex information and outcomes into accessible and emotionally engaging visual stories through a mix of multimedia.
  • Strong experience operating professional camera equipment and using video editing and creative software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Confident in operating professional camera equipment, including models such as the Sony FX30, or similar DSLR cinema-style cameras.
  • Demonstrable experience developing creative concepts and turning ideas into engaging visual content aligned to organisational objectives and audience needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively and delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating accessible and inclusive content for diverse audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Experience building effective relationships and working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
  • Experience managing small budgets to deliver content projects efficiently.
  • Good understanding of best practice with relation to consent processes, data protection and safeguarding.
