About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors and other equipment
Ensure packaging, routing and systems work is completed quickly and accurately
Participate in and guide the team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor
Complete tasks by following established procedures
Ensure all work is performed safely
Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams
Support GXO’s supply chain operations and solutions for customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
Experience operating material handling equipment
Experience using a handheld scanner
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed
2 years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) (preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
Ability to adjust focus and demonstrate close, distance, color, peripheral and depth vision
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
Must comply with GXO policies regarding COVID safety and CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements
