About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work the second shift, Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM
Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and similar equipment
Ensure packaging, routing, and systems work is completed quickly and accurately
Participate in and direct the team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor
Complete tasks by following established procedures
Ensure all work is performed safely
Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams
Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
Experience operating material handling equipment
Experience using a handheld scanner
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed (preferred)
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) (preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
Ability to adjust focus and demonstrate close, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
Compliance with GXO policies regarding COVID safety
Conditional-offer applicants may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test
