About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain DCF models to financially evaluate new propositions, including payback, ROIC and EBITDA
- Challenge and validate cost models from internal specialists
- Advise throughout the deal process and validate propositions toward commercial sign-off
- Conduct iterative discussions with Business Development and Solution Design managers on costing, pricing and commercial scope
- Model and fine-tune propositions across multiple tender rounds
- Prepare and guide internal mandating and approval processes under Delegation of Authority
- Set up financial structures with accounting, treasury, tax, credit, financiers and other partners in line with US GAAP
- Translate cost models into pricing and rate cards
- Support contracting and negotiations for smaller customers
- Drive commercial governance for new business across Northern Europe
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Experience in financial control (business, site or financial control) with financial modelling and investment analysis
- Strong knowledge of financial evaluation modelling, cashflow/P&L and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Commercially savvy, flexible mindset, comfortable in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate figures into advice
- Advanced English, written and spoken
- Nice to have: experience in contracting/negotiations, solution design cost modeling, FP&A, financial engineering, Power BI/Python, or ERP/BI systems
