About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate workload allocation among warehouse workers, material handlers, and drivers
  • Prepare work orders, troubleshoot orders, and resolve discrepancies
  • Assign and release orders for loading and unloading
  • Allocate and research inventory for orders
  • Enter inbound and/or outbound freight data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Create bills of lading (BOLs)
  • Maintain and generate required reports
  • Process, audit, and file documentation
  • Assist managers and supervisors with coordinating warehouse duties, inventory, packaging slips, reports, and customer orders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively with carriers, customers, employees, and management
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule when needed
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 6 months of experience in a warehouse setting
  • Conditional offer recipients may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test
