About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and implement products and features for GXO Logistics’ Smart Suite and other Business Unit applications
  • Lead Smart Suite application suite product strategy and vision using internal and external analysis
  • Determine integration opportunities between Smart Suite and other Business Unit applications
  • Define product roadmaps based on team strategy, vision, and business requests
  • Develop business requirements and user stories for product specifications and architecture
  • Prioritize trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load
  • Build internal and external buy-in for the Smart Suite vision
  • Lead cross-functional product and feature launches with executives, engineering, design, marketing, and product management teams
  • Identify and resolve strategic issues affecting strategic, financial, and technical goals
  • Analyze competitors, customers, and product metrics to determine features that drive engagement and usage
  • Define and research product success metrics
  • Travel locally between distribution sites and offices; international travel may be required, with expected travel of 25% to 50%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 7 years of experience designing supply chain software products
  • 5 years of management experience
  • Experience documenting business requirements in one or multiple project delivery methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, etc.)
  • MBA or master’s degree in Computer Science or similar Engineering degree (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar Engineering degree (preferred)
  • Proven track record of building and handling high performing product management teams
  • Deep understanding and experience with consumer growth tactics
  • Ability to balance strong bias for action with experience driving product alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Proven experience delivering high growth results in a consumer product role
  • Passion for building innovative products that solve user needs through deep understanding of the customer
  • Ability to understand user needs, respond to tight deadlines, and deliver products that drive key business metrics
  • Solid analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Ability to influence team members across all departments and levels of the organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to executives
  • May be required to comply with GXO COVID safety policies
  • Conditional offers may require passing a pre-employment drug test
