About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Costa contract across the southern region
  • Partner with operational leaders to deliver the people plan across Greenford, Willand and Avonmouth
  • Deliver HR initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Coach and develop managers in people management, performance management, succession planning and employee experience
  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and dispute resolution matters
  • Build relationships with trade unions and key stakeholders
  • Support consultation processes
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to improve engagement, retention, diversity and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards Level 5
  • Proven experience operating at HR advisor level or above
  • Strong employee relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, dispute resolution and trade union engagement
  • Excellent stakeholder management and coaching skills
  • Ability to influence and support managers at all levels
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel regularly across multiple sites
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operational environment
