About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as liaison between Operations and IT
  • Maintain relationships and ensure clear communication between Operations and IT
  • Define business requirements for software
  • Develop and conduct training
  • Resolve discrepancies to achieve company and customer objectives
  • Coordinate collection, documentation and communication of business requirements and best practices to IT
  • Conduct training for software maintenance, startups and upgrades
  • Create training documents and resources for system users
  • Work with IT to develop testing scenarios and conduct system tests
  • Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot solutions and provide resolutions
  • Proactively communicate with customers, employees and management to ensure necessary requirements are met

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in logistics system implementation
  • Distribution/warehousing experience
  • Knowledge of automated software systems and implementation
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications and database systems
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Solid change management skills preferred
  • 5 years of WMS configuration experience preferred
  • Solid Microsoft Excel skills, especially building dropdowns, formatting, pivot tables and graphing preferred
  • Availability for day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
  • Conditional offer may require passing a pre-employment drug test
