About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the liaison between Operations and IT, maintaining the relationship and ensuring clear communication
- Define business requirements for software and develop and conduct training
- Resolve discrepancies to achieve company and customer objectives
- Coordinate collection, documentation and communication of business requirements and best practices to the IT team
- Conduct training for software maintenance, startups and upgrades
- Create training documents and resources for system users
- Work with IT to develop testing scenarios and conduct system tests
- Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot solutions and provide resolutions
- Communicate proactively with customers, employees and management to ensure necessary requirements are met
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of experience in logistics system implementation
- Distribution/warehousing experience
- Knowledge of automated software systems and implementation
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications and database systems
- Knowledge of SAP
- Solid change management skills
- 5 years of WMS configuration experience
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills, especially building dropdowns, formatting, pivot tables and graphing
- Ability to work 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2pm–11pm
- May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
