About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the liaison between Operations and IT
Maintain the relationship between Operations and IT and ensure clear communication
Define business requirements for software
Develop and conduct training
Resolve discrepancies to achieve company and customer objectives
Coordinate collection, documentation and communication of business requirements and best practices to the IT team
Conduct training for software maintenance, startups and upgrades
Create training documents and resources for system users
Work with IT to develop testing scenarios and conduct system tests
Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot solutions and provide resolutions
Communicate proactively with customers, employees and management to ensure requirements are met

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
1 year of experience in logistics system implementation
Distribution/warehousing experience
Knowledge of automated software systems and implementation
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications and database systems
Knowledge of SAP
Solid change management skills
5 years of WMS configuration experience
Solid Microsoft Excel skills, especially building dropdowns, formatting, pivot tables and graphing
Ability to communicate effectively in all situations
May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
Must comply with GXO policies regarding COVID safety and applicable CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements
