About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee critical operational areas to ensure inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and team success
  • Monitor trends and analyze operational challenges
  • Implement process improvements
  • Provide coaching and development to team members
  • Supervise Inventory Control team members and enforce company policies
  • Maintain inventory record integrity while following established procedures
  • Research complex transaction histories to reconcile discrepancies
  • Communicate with all levels of management and customer representatives
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectives
  • Coordinate team-member activities and ensure effective use of productive working hours
  • Investigate facility operations to troubleshoot processes and recommend improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 years of inventory control experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience (preferred)
  • APICS or CSCMP certifications (preferred)
  • 5 years of inventory control experience including slotting and unit measures (preferred)
  • 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience (preferred)
  • Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
  • Solid time management and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Self-motivated work style with excellent analytical and math skills
  • Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Conditional offer recipients may be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
