About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory, including racks, trays, networking equipment, and other hardware
  • Maintain inventory records and documentation for received and shipped items
  • Perform stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers
  • Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging
  • Upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments
  • Transport inventory by hand using material handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures
  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas and shipping/receiving docks
  • Dispose of packaging materials and obsolete equipment as needed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and data center security measures
  • Collaborate with data center operations, procurement, and technical support teams
  • Support special projects and other assigned duties
  • Assist with computer server-rack setup and installation
  • Assemble server racks using diagrams and guidelines
  • Support senior technicians with cable management and organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to receive, inspect, record, and manage inventory
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Ability to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers
  • Ability to prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging
  • Ability to use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely
  • Ability to comply with data center security measures and access controls
  • Ability to safely use basic tools and equipment
  • Ability to follow server-rack assembly diagrams and guidelines
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm
  • Conditional offers may require passing a pre-employment drug test
