About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the primary point of contact for the customer
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely communication regarding performance, issues, risks, and resolutions
- Provide operational insight and commentary explaining performance results, trends, and root causes to the Non-Core and Primary Manager
- Manage individual and team performance through regular feedback, coaching, and structured performance reviews
- Support and embed continuous improvement initiatives through standardisation, process review, and team involvement
- Ensure strong operational control, accurate performance reporting, proactive issue resolution, and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recognised industry certifications such as IOSH, HACCP, CPC, or Six Sigma are desirable; training can be given
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
- Strong understanding of warehouse and transport operations, including non-core activity
- Demonstrated experience in performance reporting, KPI management, and data accuracy
