About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Train team members across several departments on Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Powered Industrial Truck Certifications
- Support the development and implementation of the new employee introductory program
- Audit current SWIs and recommend improvements
- Participate on project teams as an operations subject matter expert
- Communicate with and provide feedback to process owners and management
- Support leadership through training and coaching activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the logistics industry
- 2 years of training/coaching experience
- Experience with Raymond Corporation reach truck, order picker and turret truck
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience
- Compliance with GXO policies regarding COVID safety and CDC, OSHA, and state and local requirements
- May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
