About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support daily data center logistics operations
Receive, move, stage, and prepare equipment and materials for shipment
Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
Follow established procedures and work instructions based on priorities set by a lead or supervisor
Accurately record inventory movements in systems
Promptly escalate discrepancies or issues for resolution
Learn and apply data center logistics processes, tools, and safety expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year of relevant experience
A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques
Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures
High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience (preferred)
3 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment (preferred)
Availability to travel more than 75% of the time (preferred)
Good communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate with and support other team members
Ability to remain engaged and productive while flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outside on occasion
Ability to reach, including above the head
Ability to safely walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
Visual focus adjustment, depth perception, and close vision capabilities
Conditional offer recipients may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test
Ability to comply with GXO COVID safety policies and CDC, OSHA, and state and local requirements
