About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain inventory accuracy, ensure material readiness, and support audit activities
Set daily priorities and coordinate team workflows
Resolve complex inventory or process issues
Drive process improvements to enhance operational performance
Receive, move, stage, and prepare equipment and materials for shipment
Schedule and coordinate inbound shipments
Communicate transportation activities and shipment updates to internal stakeholders
Resolve transportation issues, delays, and service disruptions
Coordinate carrier appointments and dock schedules
Maintain accurate shipment records and transportation documentation
Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts according to training and safety guidelines
Follow established procedures and work instructions based on priorities set by a lead or supervisor
Record inventory movements in systems and escalate discrepancies or issues
Learn and apply data center logistics processes, tools, and safety expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years of relevant experience
A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques
Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures
High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience (preferred)
4 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment (preferred)
Availability to travel more than 75% of the time (preferred)
Good communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate with and support other team members
Ability to remain flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outside on occasion
Ability to reach, including above your head
Ability to safely walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
Visual focus adjustment, depth perception and close vision capabilities
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test if required after a conditional offer
Compliance with GXO COVID safety policies and applicable CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements
