About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise personnel
  • Research data and provide recommendations
  • Act as the first line of communication with customers and warehouse sites
  • Advise customers of service failures and coordinate resolutions
  • Audit daily order processes and ensure all orders are sent to each site
  • Monitor and report errors for performance tracking
  • Collaborate with Inventory Control, Transportation and warehouse sites on service resolutions
  • Oversee service provider performance and engage providers for service improvement
  • Communicate order changes with warehouses and coordinate shipment schedules
  • Maintain department ISO compliance documents
  • Train all department personnel to required standards, including the department Director and Manager
  • Travel domestically by road, rail and air as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications
  • Ability to create complex formulas in Excel
  • Associate degree in Transportation or Business (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in customer service, distribution or logistics in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in transportation and operations (preferred)
  • Availability to work extended hours as needed, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Capacity to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience
  • Effective organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to adapt to new work structures, processes or cultures using varied interpersonal styles and communication methods
  • Ability to perform complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems
  • Experience producing unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Must possess a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport
  • Familiarity and ability to comply with TSA security procedures
  • Ability to travel domestically via road, rail and air as required
  • Must comply with Company travel and expense requirements
  • Subject to applicable CDC, OSHA and state and local COVID safety requirements
