About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide dedicated account management support, including issue resolution, financial performance, adherence to contract terms, solution design and pricing
Handle customer expectations and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives
Handle contracts for assigned accounts and all account-driven activities
Develop short-term and long-range plans and goals for the organization
Ensure attainment of annual profit, efficiency, and quality goals at each client engagement
Direct capital expenditure and asset deployment activities
Inspire and ensure a Lean culture
Establish a strategic direction and plan for customer account growth
Handle the customer experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 years of relevant experience
Confirmed logistics or supply chain management experience
Superior knowledge of the supply chain vertical
Project management experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience (preferred)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain effective, reciprocal work relationships within and outside of the company
Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Able to be conclusive, results-oriented, and strategic in thinking and approach
Must comply with GXO policies regarding COVID safety
May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
