About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide dedicated account management support for issue resolution, financial performance, contract adherence, solution design, and pricing
Handle customer expectations and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives
Manage contracts for assigned accounts and all account-driven activities
Develop short-term and long-range organizational plans and goals
Ensure annual profit, efficiency, and quality goals at each client engagement are achieved
Direct capital expenditure and asset deployment activities
Inspire and ensure a Lean culture
Handle customer experience and establish strategic direction and account-growth plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 years of relevant experience
Confirmed logistics or supply chain management experience
Superior knowledge of the supply chain vertical
Project management experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience (preferred)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain effective, reciprocal work relationships within and outside of the company
Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to be conclusive, results-oriented, and strategic in thinking and approach
Ability to work 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test if receiving a conditional offer
Must comply with GXO policies regarding COVID safety and CDC, OSHA, state, and local requirements
