About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the strategic direction for the region, aligning site performance with customer and GXO business objectives
  • Build and maintain senior customer relationships
  • Lead strategic reviews and manage high-level escalations
  • Own regional commercial performance, including P&L oversight, budgets, forecasts, risks and opportunities
  • Lead, coach and develop site General Managers
  • Drive accountability, succession planning and leadership capability
  • Act as senior escalation point for operational, customer, people, safety and commercial challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant senior leadership experience across multiple sites, contracts or complex operational environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, budgets, forecasting and contractual performance
  • Proven ability to build strategic customer relationships and translate customer needs into value-added solutions
  • Experience leading through senior operational leaders and developing high-performing leadership teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills at executive level
  • Demonstrable success delivering change, continuous improvement and innovation within large-scale operations
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capability
  • Flexibility required for predominantly Monday to Friday work
