Robotics Technician

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Repair and maintain site ABB robotics, GreyOrange butlers, conveyors and wrappers
- Follow and execute basic functional testing procedures for equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner with adequate recordkeeping
- Locate sources of problems by observing and monitoring the automation field
- Diagnose and repair equipment problems
- Document preventive maintenance, equipment repairs and part usage
- Help ensure safe and reliable automation solutions and superior customer service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician (preferred)
- Active Journeyman license (preferred)
- Ability to safely walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery
- Ability to reach above the head, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
- Ability to access any area of equipment to perform necessary maintenance, including inspecting and working in, on and under equipment parts
- Conditional offer recipients may be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
