About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise the efficient daily operations of the department, emphasizing warehouse associate management and action-plan implementation
  • Establish and maintain procedures for meeting company and customer commitments
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train, motivate and lead team members within the area of responsibility
  • Facilitate conflict resolution when needed
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Work 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
  • Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to reach above the head, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
  • Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience (preferred)
  • 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
  • Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience (preferred)
