Key responsibilities & impact

Establish work schedules, assign jobs and train staff
Guide, counsel and encourage employees
Improve employee potential and champion high standards
Establish and maintain effective relationships with onsite customers and key partners
Provide a safe and secure work environment through training and safety inspections
Assist with evaluating employee performance and provide written and verbal feedback
Implement and carry out company policies, procedures and standards
Build a culture supporting high employee morale
Improve employee engagement and maintain clear, frequent communication at every level

What you’ll need

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with computerized scanner equipment
Availability for a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime and weekends
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience (preferred)
3 years of managerial/supervisory experience (preferred)
Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience (preferred)
Solid problem-solving skills
Proven ability to follow, promote and implement safety programs
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
Ability to reach above the head, bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
