Key responsibilities & impact

Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for new business implementations
Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with standards, procedures and guidelines
Ensure availability of financial, material and human resources required to complete projects
Evaluate progress, detect limitations or faults, and seek process-efficiency solutions
Develop internal and external communication strategies for departments and clients
Use specialized tools and techniques to delegate and distribute tasks among project team members
Motivate team members to meet project goals
Offer solutions to meet targets and satisfy client requirements
Manage all project aspects, including planning, communication, risk assessment and resources
Create a collaborative work environment conducive to creative thinking
Contribute to new business startups, operational efficiency and company financial success through project planning, execution, resource management and on-time, on-budget delivery
Travel up to 85%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously of varying scope and size
Experience using project management software
Microsoft Office experience
Must possess a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport
Familiarity and ability to comply with TSA security procedures
Ability to travel domestically via road, rail and air as required
Certification(s) such as PMP, Agile or Six Sigma preferred
Experience in a transportation, supply chain, logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment preferred
Strong understanding of professional services economics preferred
Experience with change management processes preferred
Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends preferred
Experience in staff management and development, including mentoring Project Managers preferred
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities preferred
