Contribute to new business startups, operational efficiency and the financial success of the company
Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for new business implementations
Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with standards, procedures and guidelines
Ensure financial, material and human resources are available to complete projects successfully
Evaluate progress, identify limitations or faults, and seek efficient process solutions
Develop internal and external communication strategies for departments and clients
Delegate tasks and ensure even distribution among project team members
Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal network
Motivate team members to meet project goals
Offer solutions to meet targets and satisfy client requirements
Manage project planning, communication, risk assessment and resources
Create a collaborative work environment conducive to creative thinking
Travel up to 85%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously of varying scope and size
Experience using project management software
Microsoft Office experience
Must possess a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport
Familiarity and ability to comply with TSA security procedures
Ability to travel domestically via road, rail and air as required
Certification(s) such as PMP, Agile or Six Sigma
Experience in a transportation, supply chain, logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of professional services economics
Experience with change management processes
Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
Experience in staff management and development, including mentoring Project Managers
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
