About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage warehouse operations across the shift, ensuring productivity, service, quality and safety targets are achieved
- Develop, coach and support Team Leaders and operational colleagues
- Build a high-performing culture focused on accountability, engagement and continuous improvement
- Monitor operational KPIs, service levels and resource utilisation
- Implement corrective actions and drive efficiencies to maximise operational performance
- Act as a key customer liaison and resolve operational issues promptly
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Drive a proactive health and safety culture
- Ensure compliance with company standards
- Conduct investigations where required
- Promote safe working practices across the operation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven leadership experience within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment, with responsibility for managing people and operational performance
- Strong understanding of KPI management, continuous improvement methodologies and operational planning within a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading and developing teams, including performance management, coaching and employee engagement activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and build effective customer relationships
- Experience working with warehouse management systems and operational reporting
- Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven approach
