About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and assign deliveries and routes to drivers
  • Ensure customer requirements are met in the most efficient and cost-effective way
  • Confirm delivery and booking dates
  • Coordinate with drivers and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recent experience in a Transport Planner position or similar transport environment
  • Good understanding of delivery planning and operational requirements
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to identify practical solutions to operational challenges
  • Effective communication with drivers, customers and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet demanding targets and deadlines within a time-critical environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Initiative and confidence to identify and drive opportunities that enhance operational efficiency and customer service
