About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule delivery appointments
- Perform freight tendering and carrier selection using a routing guide
- Monitor carrier performance and compliance issues
- Perform data entry and complete track-and-trace duties
- Provide freight pay and claims resolution
- Maintain extensive customer interface
- Track loads for all modes of transportation
- Deliver a positive customer experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong email and verbal communication skills
- WMS systems knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Professional work experience (preferred)
- Ability to work several sides of an issue to achieve resolution, including carrier, supplier, freight pay and internal customers (preferred)
- Solid attention to detail (preferred)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test may be required after a conditional offer
- Compliance with GXO COVID safety policies and applicable CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements
