About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Track loads for all modes of transportation
- Deliver a positive customer experience
- Schedule delivery appointments
- Perform freight tendering and carrier selection using the routing guide
- Monitor carrier performance and compliance issues
- Perform data entry and complete track-and-trace duties
- Provide freight pay and claims resolution
- Wave, allocate and release orders
- Work with carriers, suppliers, freight pay teams and internal customers to resolve issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (listed as desirable)
- Professional work experience (listed as desirable)
- Ability to work several sides of an issue to achieve resolution, including carrier, supplier, freight pay and internal customers
- Solid attention to detail
- Ability to work Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM day shift
- Must comply with GXO COVID safety policies and applicable CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements
- May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
