About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the activities of a team of operatives
- Provide leadership, motivation, and training to ensure operational effectiveness and daily targets are met
- Pick stock from pallet racking, shelves, or other predetermined warehouse areas using RF terminals or picking lists
- Use the Warehouse Management System (RESUS) to locate and retrieve products
- Ensure work equipment is in good working order and report defects
- Sort loads in the marshalling area and load vehicles
- Operate necessary warehouse equipment when trained
- Lead warehouse operations with focus on safety, performance, productivity, accuracy, service, and people development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced in leading successful teams in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
- Computer literate; experience with WMS systems
- Capable of driving mechanical handling equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work Sunday–Thursday, 22:00–06:00
- Full-time, permanent position
