About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse operatives to achieve operational targets and service excellence
- Coordinate daily activities across inbound, picking, packing and dispatch operations
- Manage performance, quality and productivity through regular reviews and KPI monitoring
- Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining excellent housekeeping practices
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, workforce planning and efficient resource allocation to achieve cost, quality and delivery objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous leadership experience within a fast-paced logistics, warehousing or distribution environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, engage and influence teams
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to analyse operational performance and implement improvements to drive results
- Proactive, professional and flexible approach
- Confidence to work effectively under pressure
