About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and prioritize product backlogs, user stories, and feature roadmaps
- Lead Agile Scrum teams through planning, refinement, and delivery activities
- Collaborate with software engineering, control systems engineering, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Define requirements for products spanning industrial automation, rig control systems, cloud platforms, edge computing, and data-driven applications
- Balance customer needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and operational requirements
- Drive alignment across diverse stakeholders and influence decisions without direct authority
- Support the delivery of innovative drilling technologies, automation capabilities, AI-driven solutions, and connected operations platforms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional technical environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Preferred: experience in oil & gas, drilling, industrial automation, robotics, or energy technology
- Preferred: experience with PLCs, industrial control systems, operational technology (OT), cloud platforms, edge computing, or enterprise software
- Preferred: experience with API integrations, systems architecture, and software development lifecycles
- Preferred: CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent Agile certification
