About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and analyze financial data for accounting projects and reporting
- Assist with forecasting, financial reporting, and processes
- Research technical accounting and financial reporting matters
- Support preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and schedules
- Assist with timely preparation and review of financial reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams on special projects
- Work independently while receiving guidance and mentoring
- Participate in professional development, community service, networking, and connected culture workshops and events
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Seeking to obtain a degree in Information Accounting, Finance, Economics, or some similar discipline
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team and independently
- Highly motivated, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Quick learner willing to work with new computer-based programs and databases
- Ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment
- No previous work experience necessary
