Key responsibilities & impact

Drive product discovery, strategy, and delivery for experiences across the tax preparation journey
Partner with engineers, designers, researchers, and business stakeholders to solve customer problems
Prioritize opportunities using customer insights, data, and business objectives
Define requirements and guide products from idea through launch
Measure outcomes and continuously improve the client experience
Evaluate and integrate industry-leading AI tax preparation capabilities across H&R Block’s end-to-end client journey

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
Demonstrated decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated effectiveness presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Introduction to formal product management methodologies
Minimum 3 years of related work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools
Preferred: Introduction to structured technology delivery/software development lifecycles
Preferred: PMP certification, equivalent certification, or completed work toward PMP certification or equivalent
Preferred: Individual income tax consultation or return preparation experience
Preferred: Experimentation rigor, including observation, hypothesis definition, experiment design and instrumentation, measurement, and unbiased results analysis
