About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the full finance function, building scalable systems, managing cash flow, driving profitability, and leading financial strategy
Deliver accurate, audit-ready financials by the 20th of each month with full account reconciliation and zero material errors
Build and maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updated weekly
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting across all departments
Develop automated systems and workflows to reduce manual reporting time
Partner with leadership to increase profitability and improve EBITDA
Create and document SOPs for close, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting processes
Implement expense management, travel, and purchasing systems by Month 6
Produce financial dashboards and KPIs
Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations on growth, cash flow, and inventory planning
Evaluate ERP and reporting technology solutions for company scale

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA strongly preferred)
5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including 3+ years in leadership
Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Experience implementing scalable systems and automation in growing organizations
Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and tax standards
Proficiency with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets
Excellent analytical and communication skills; you turn complexity into clarity
Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail (preferred)
Collaborative mindset and the confidence to influence executive-level decisions
