About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and optimize sophisticated software solutions in an enterprise environment
Assume technical responsibility for projects
Support teams with architecture and technology decisions
Develop high-performance backend solutions using Python and modern frameworks
Design scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures and support their implementation
Design and implement interfaces for integrating applications and IT landscapes
Collaborate with customers, Product Owners, and development teams, and provide guidance on technical matters
Support code reviews, quality assurance, and the introduction of best practices
Promote knowledge sharing and support the professional development of colleagues
Support the operation and ongoing development of applications in cloud and/or on-premises environments
Contribute to the continuous development of technology standards, methods, and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing software solutions with Python
Solid experience with modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or comparable technologies
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
Experience integrating distributed systems
Knowledge of modern architectural approaches such as microservices, event-driven architectures, and domain-driven design
Practical experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Familiarity with container technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD processes, and Git-based development workflows
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Good understanding of software quality, test automation, and security by design
Willingness to assume technical responsibility, support teams, and share knowledge
Confident communication with technical and business stakeholders
German language skills at least at C1 level
Good command of English
